Business v/s Employment
A good business idea does not need to be original. It needs to target a specific, underserved gap you can name, and knowing how much capital and risk that gap demands matter just as much as the idea itself.
Entrepreneurship vs. Employment
Employment offers income security and work-life balance as long as you keep working with integrity, while entrepreneurship offers a higher income in long run, but longer hours initially.
Employment:
- Fixed Time: You are expected to work about 8 hours a day, in most jobs.
- Fixed income: You know exactly how much money you will get at the end of work period.
- Work-life balance: Employment offers a decent work-life balance unless you are in a high paying job.
- Limited growth: In most cases, your growth opportunities in terms of career and income are limited.
Entrepreneurship, on the other hand provides more opportunities to make a difference in the lives of others as well as yours.
